1 pork roast (about 3 lbs.)
1 onion, chopped
1 cup ginger ale soda
1 cup beer
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
8 slices of bacon, cooked
Sandwich rolls or hamburger buns
Transform your kitchen in shambles into a BBQ shack with this easy (and quick) recipe! Put the pork roast into a slow cooker with chopped onion, ginger ale, beer and a couple of squirts of BBQ sauce (just so it's covered). Cook for 12 hours on low or 6 hours on high (enjoy the smell!) Pull the pork roast out of the slow cooker and place in a separate bowl, drain the slow cooker (be careful, the roast is going to fall apart). Place the roast back into the slow cooker, along with the rest of the bottle of BBQ sauce. Crumble the bacon and put that in the slow cooker, too. Pull pork apart with a fork and mix all the contents together. Let cook on low for another 1/2 hour before serving on a bun.
