2011 NKBA Design Award: Small Kitchens - First Place brooksBerry Kitchens & BathsSt. Louis, MODesigner: Chris Novak BerryCo-Designer: Julie Gragg

Design Notes: With two young homeowners who both cook, this kitchen was remodeled with more light and better use of space to make the most of the room. By removing a pantry and soffits, the designer added more space while new lighting brightened the room. A clean transitional design balances warm white and brown cabinetry with stainless steel accents.

Products and Materials: Backsplash: Marron Cohiba granite with suede finish, brooksBerry cabinetry with Soft Clay paint and German Chocolate stain, marble, wood and granite countertop, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf range, Zephyr Okeanito ventilation hood, natural oak flooring
