Even though it’s from Santa Fe, the ceramic tile surrounding the cooktop has a Spanish spirit. The hood mantel supports a display of vibrant trays from Mexican beer makers. The tile across the front is inscribed with the Spanish proverb, “A mucha hambre no hay pan duro,” which roughly translates to, “When very hungry, there is no stale bread.”
