Caccavello kept the sink on the island, but revamped it to reflect his kitchen's new Old World quality. Made from reverse-hammered copper, the apron-front farmhouse sink sits behind the island's upper level, which consists of three inset drawers with a distressed black walnut countertop. Tuscan brass faucets, double pull-outs for trash and an dishwasher complete the cleanup zone.
