Tonia Kim has never been happy learning only one skill, but instead has mastered several. She was an associate producer on a documentary about Jewish
refugees-turned-soldiers who fought with the United States and its
allies in World War II. While obtaining her law degree, Kim served as both an editorial assistant and copy editor at the Modern Luxury publishing group, writing about style and design.
After obtaining her degree with a focus on intellectual property and legal writing, Kim continued to contribute articles while delving into jewelry design. Her jewelry line, Toki Collection, features designs drawn from Kim’s world travels, nature and fantasy. From luxury jewelry stores to international boutiques, Kim’s line accepts orders across the world and has achieved recognition from the global design community in its three short years of business. Her jewelry appeared on the May 2010 cover of Shape magazine, worn by Ellen DeGeneres.
