Miriam Kamin: Mommy Blogger Extraordinaire

Named #6 on Babble’s 2009 inaugural list of the Top 50 Mommy Bloggers, Miriam Kamin maintains two personal blogs in addition to making a living as a freelance writer and blogger. Woulda Coulda Shoulda—which Babble ranked #1 in the Most Confessional category—chronicles her divorce, single parenting, second marriage, and adventures with her 12-year-old daughter, “Chickadee,” and 10-year-old son, “Monkey.” Her other blog, Want Not, is a bargains and budgeting site for parents aimed at "having it all with less."

After earning a double major in theater and psychology from Syracuse University and then a master’s degree in psychology and human-computer interaction from Stanford, Miriam pursued a career in software engineering and technical writing. Now she writes, proofs and edits about 50 hours a week from her home office in the greater Atlanta area. Miriam regularly blogs for The Daily GrommetCool Mom Picks, and Work It, Mom! and is a contributing editor at BlogHer.
