The designer began by reconfiguring the L-shaped island: making the legs similar in length, adding a prep sink, and removing the hanging cabinets. A carved glass bar top serves as a fresh accent to the modern kitchen, and purple pendant lights help lighten up the room. The glass motif continues with a glass tile mosaic backsplash and a curved glass hood visor. A flip-up flat television screen tucks underneath the cabinet for easy storage. See next slide.
