Design Notes: When the homeowners first bought this property, it came with an entirely different house. Before building a new structure, the owners salvaged and remilled the cedar wood from the house they tore down. The salvaged cedar wood now panels the kitchen walls in this modern cabin. Maple cabinetry complements the cedar walls while a tall Cor-Ten steel range hood falls before a high-rising bank of windows. The kitchen's concrete floor adds to the modern rustic look, and quartz countertops from Chroma provide a simple and refined workspace.
