“The stainless steel slab door starts off this kitchen’s
very linear look. Long stainless steel handles continue the
contemporary linear flow. We used a copper strip above and
below the cabinets to break up the stainless steel look while
maintaining the clean line. Symmetry was crucial in this
design, evident in the island’s drawers. There’s a 30” drawer
base to left and an 18” to right, but 30” headers to keep
balance."

did not become sterile. The glass tile backsplash, stone floor and granite countertops all played off the copper
strip, moving away from cold contemporary to a little more
warmth.”
