Show Off Your Pantry
Don't think of your pantry as an eyesore. Stocked with colorful cans,
tins of pasta and plenty of cake mixes, its homey warmth can contribute
to, rather than take away from, your design. Karen Black-Sigler, CKD, of
Karen Black's Kitchens By Design of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, uses glass
doors on pantry doors. "Pantries are becoming a little prettier, as
people are using them as a cross between a butler's pantry, a
kitchenette where they have the mixer and the breadmaker, and a storage
room." You can also sandblast the glass so you can't see clearly into
the space.
