Inspired by his father Robert’s career, Chicago-based photographer Paul Natkin picked up a camera in the 1970s and soon began specializing in photographing concerts and musicians. Paul’s photos of artists such as Prince, Bruce Springsteen and the Jackson 5 have appeared in magazines from Creem to Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek to Ebony. He’s toured with the Rolling Stones and created cover images for albums by Ozzy Osbourne, Buddy Guy, Alanis Morissette and John Mayer. Visit Photo Reserve Inc. to see his portfolio and read his blog.
Recently, Paul has been devoting more of his time to working as a road manager (artists include Brian Wilson, Alice Peacock, and the Ditty Bops), and to charity organizations. As the vice president, executive director and co-founder of Rock for Reading, Paul raises funds and awareness via concerts and benefits to promote literacy programs in schools, libraries and community organizations.
